Paul was born and raised in Mexico, New York, the youngest son of Dr. John and Roberta Anderson. Paul is the fourth generation of Andersons to call Mexico home. Paul was the first person saved through the ministry of Pastor Paul Wagner at Believers Chapel North during its earliest days in 1991. Later, in May of 1992, Paul and Jeannie were the first to be married at BCN.

A former chef, Paul graduated from Paul Smith College in 1977 with a degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management. After graduation Paul worked in the food service industry. Most notably, he worked at the Candlelight Cottage in Parish, NY for many years with his brother Mark. From there, Paul moved on to work at Oswego Hospital as a Dietary Manager.

In 1994, Paul received a call from God to full time ministry while walking down Pumphouse Road in Mexico! That was the day Pastor Manny Josbena asked him to join the staff at BCN as Assistant Pastor.

Over the years, Paul studied and trained, strengthening his pastoral and administrative gifts. He moved into the role of Associate Pastor in 2002 where he ministered increasingly through anointed worship and preaching.

Now, as Senior Pastor, Paul is known for his passionate zeal for the Lord and for stirring up the church to respond to God's voice. His friendly nature and compassionate spirit are evident in the loving care he provides for all those who attend BCN.

2 Peter 1:10 says, "Therefore, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure, for if you do these things, yous shall never fall." 2 Thess. 1:11 also says, " With this in mind, I constantly pray for you that our God may count you worthy of His calling, and that by His power He may fulfill every good purpose of yours and every act prompted by your faith."
