Believers Chapel North
has numerous groups and services that are expressly
designed to serve the needs of our own members as well
as individuals and families in our community and the
nations. Each of these activities and events encourages
hospitality and evangelism in some way as we reach out
in love to the world.
Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is
evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another
in brotherly love; give preference to one another
in honor; not lagging behind in diligence, fervent
in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, persevering
in tribulation, devoted to prayer, contributing to
the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality.
Romans 12:9-13

Monthly Family Service
Families are important at BCN
- so important that we even dedicate a service every
month to families. We regularly have a Family Service
for several important reasons. It is a wonderful
way to unify the church family by giving the Children
and Youth Ministry workers an opportunity to come
together with the rest of the congregation. It also
gives families an opportunity to worship together!
Exposure to corporate worship is an important learning
experience for our children.
Covered Dish Fellowship
Every month or so we have a covered dish luncheon
immediately following our Sunday morning service.
It is a wonderful time to gather together and chat
over good food and delectable desserts.
Sweetheart Dinner
This special evening is held annually. Everyone
who attends will enjoy the buffet at Arena's
Eis House in Mexico, NY. This is a fun evening
for all adult couples and singles too!
Celebration Dinner
This is the BCN
family Thanksgiving dinner! We culminate our 40
Days Ablaze by coming together for a traditional
Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings. We enjoy
everyone's favorite holiday recipes and thank God
for the blessings of the year and the bounty of
our table.
Family Picnics
When the weather is agreeable we congregate outside
for an awesome BBQ, fellowship, softball, frisbee,
volleyball or whatever other outdoor activity sparks
an interest.
Community Recreation Night
Every Tuesday night the Mexico and surrounding
community is invited to a free “rec night”
of fun and games. In the Spring of 2003 we been
given permission to use the Mexico High School gymnasium
to play basketball and volleyball. In the Summer
we plan on softball and a variety of other activities.
Keep checking the Calendar
for Tuesday nights or contact the Chapel
for more information.
Join us. It’ll be fun. (And, admit it…you
need the exercise!)
